Watches and restocks

Buy when a price drops, hear when something new fits a search, or reorder on a schedule. yaaa checks for you and tells you when it’s time.

yaaa checks the store hourly, for up to 30 days (--until YYYY-MM-DD to stop sooner). With yaaa Plus, every 15 minutes, for up to 90 days.
When the product is in stock at or below your price, you get an alert with a confirm link. It works for 24 hours, or until the price goes back above yours.

Filter watches

A price watch follows one product. A filter watch follows a search, across every store: the same words and filters as yaaa products search. It shows what matches today, then tells you when something changes:

a product that matches and wasn’t there before;
one that’s at least 5% or $5 cheaper than when you last heard about it;
one that’s back in stock.

yaaa runs the search every 12 hours, for up to 30 days (--until YYYY-MM-DD to stop sooner); with yaaa Plus, every 3 hours, for up to 90 days. Each alert shows up to 3 matches, cheapest first. A filter watch never buys: pick one and run yaaa buy for a quote, or use Quote this on the web desk.

Restocks

--monthly <day> reorders on that day of every month (1 to 28); --every 14d every 14 days.
--qty sets how many each time; --variant, which variant.
--max is required: a run whose total is higher is skipped.

Each run is quoted 24 hours before it’s due, and you get an alert with a confirm link. A run is skipped, and you’re told why, if it’s over your --max, out of stock, or not confirmed in time.

How many, and how often

Your plan sets how many watches and restocks can run at once, how many quotes you can get a day, and how often watches are checked:

An account’s first day lasts until it has a passkey (yaaa login), a confirmed alert email, or a confirmed purchase. Searching has the same limits on every plan. yaaa plus status (or yaaa whoami) shows your plan and what’s in use; at a limit, yaaa says so and exits with code 4. yaaa Plus raises the limits: yaaa plus.

Watches and restocks you already have keep running until they end, even past a limit; only new ones count against it. A watch is checked as often as your plan allows from its next check on, and a product or search someone on yaaa Plus also watches is checked as often as theirs.

Limits and confirm links

Every run and every price drop counts against your spending limits, and every one ends with a confirm link you open yourself. Nothing is bought automatically.

Coming soon: on stores that install the YAAA channel, these purchases will complete on their own within your limits, with no confirm link. Drops and limited releases come with it.
