Where alerts go

Price watch hits, filter watch matches, restock runs, and skipped runs are alerts. Each one with something to buy carries its confirm link. They show up:

  • In your agent’s session: the yaaa skill checks for them and passes them on.
  • In the terminal with yaaa alerts.
  • On the web desk (yaaa desk).

You can also turn on any of these: desktop notifications, email, and a Discord channel. yaaa notify status shows which are on. When your agent sets up a watch or a restock and none are, it asks how you’d like to hear.

In the terminal

yaaa alerts

New alerts since you last looked. --all shows everything still open; --peek doesn’t mark them as seen.

yaaa events is the same stream for scripts and agents (--follow keeps it open).

Desktop notifications

yaaa notify install

Runs a small notifier in the background at login (launchd on macOS, a systemd user service on Linux). Click a notification to open its confirm link. On macOS it shows the product’s picture. In WSL, notifications can’t reach Windows, so use email or Discord instead.

Email

yaaa notify email you@example.com
  • yaaa emails that address a link first. Alerts start once you click it and press Confirm. The link works once, for 24 hours.
  • Alerts come from no-reply@yaaa.io; replies aren’t read.
  • Every alert email has an unsubscribe link, or run yaaa notify email off.

Discord

yaaa notify discord https://discord.com/api/webhooks/…

Posts alerts to a channel in your own Discord server. In Discord: channel settings → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook → Copy Webhook URL.

Use a private channel: anyone who can see it can open your confirm links. Treat the webhook URL like a password. yaaa notify discord off stops it.

The web desk

yaaa desk

Opens the web desk in your browser, signed in: your alerts with their confirm links, what’s in progress, and settings. The link works once, for 10 minutes. With a passkey, you can sign in to it from any browser.
