How we make money
YAAA has a free plan for shoppers and an optional paid plan, yaaa Plus. Here is how it earns money, and what that never changes about what you pay or what YAAA recommends.
1. What shoppers pay
YAAA’s free plan costs nothing. yaaa Plus, a subscription for people who watch and restock a lot, costs $6.99 a month or $59 a year, plus sales tax where it applies (see Pricing). Either way, YAAA never adds to a store’s price: you pay the store directly, at its own price, in its own checkout.
2. Affiliate links
Some links to stores on yaaa.io are affiliate links, through Sovrn Commerce. If you follow one and buy something, the store may pay NxisAI LLC a commission. Affiliate links are marked where they appear.
Any use of affiliate links inside YAAA itself (the command-line tool and its agent skills) will be described here, and in the Terms, before it starts.
3. What they never change
- Your price. A commission comes out of the store’s side, never yours.
- What YAAA recommends. YAAA picks products and stores on how well they fit what you asked for: price, rating, stock, and your preferences. Whether a store pays a commission, and whether you’re on yaaa Plus, are never part of it.
- Your privacy. YAAA doesn’t sell your information or use it for advertising. See the Privacy Policy.
4. Merchants
Stores that install the YAAA sales channel (coming soon to the Shopify App Store) will pay a commission on orders YAAA sends them. That doesn’t change what you pay either. See For merchants.
5. An example
A product YAAA can buy for you: Allbirds Men’s Tree Runners (affiliate link). If you buy after following it, Allbirds may pay NxisAI LLC a commission; the price is the same either way.
